Sister(s)

I have a sister. Her name is Emily. She is the most amazing woman of God I have ever met and I have known her my whole life... ha! Anyway, she encourages me is everything I do, say, and believe. When she's hurting she shows it, like anyone else. Yet in the midst of her hurting, there is praise. Unbelievable unending praise, and I love her so much, she is my sister and why yes... I am bragging!

I have 3 sisters. All of them different in everything that they do yet one thing is the same... their incredible faith in their father... creator... LOVER! I admire that in them so much. God is unfaithful and amazing. He's my love and he has given me an amazing family that I never take for granted.
Time after time I hear people tell me,"I hope you never take your family for granted!" I always reply with,"Never would I even think about taking my amazing family for granted (but I never mind bragging about them)!"

You Never Let Go!

So I realized that I haven't blogged in quite awhile, so last night I found something that I just had to blog about! I was home alone last night for most of the night, so I decided to put some music on. I then proceeded to click on iTunes and play my recently bought songs. I had bought a song for a video I made for chapel about our recent Biloxi mission trip called "Never Let Go" by David Crowder Band. It seemed like an awesome song at the time but I didn't really think about the words very much because I was getting frustrated with the video making process. So as I was listening to it last night and singing along, the song hit me in a way where I just fell silent and started crying. The words "You never let go, you never let go" are truly the most comforting words ever! Jesus is AWESOME!

Hi Welcome To Cold Stone!

Yep, I work at Cold Stone! With all the ups and downs of working there, there always seems to be a little child that comes in and wants "the blue ice cream" with chocolate ice cream and gummy bears. Seems gross to all of us but thats a child's imagination for ya! They like blue so they get blue, and they like chocolate so they get chocolate, oh and gummy bears are awesome, LETS MIX THEM ALL TOGETHER!!! YAY! Children at Cold Stone are my favorite!

Zechariah :)

Hi! I have a nephew. He is really cute. His name is Zechariah Miller Thayer. He has a new found favorite, giggling when grandma tickles him on his thighs. He likes to spit up, but hey what baby doesn't? Oh and yeah he is really cute!

Driving.

So I got my license finially last week! I have been driving with a temporary one for now and I got my real one in the mail today. I felt like a real driver as soon as that little piece of plastic slipped into my wallet. Funny how something so small seems so big, so amazing. Funny how something that looks so insignificant, is a very important little piece of plastic. Its a license, it gives you the freedom to drive anytime you want (except after mignight and before 5 AM. hehe). Shows that you are a responsible high schooler and that you can be trusted with driving by yourself, and driving safe. It shows that when you venture out on your own you are allowed to be there. Kind of like God. Not that you need a certificate showing that you love him and he loves you and your going to go to heaven. But the bible, when I got my first fit-in-my-purse bible i felt so much older than I actually am. I love having that assurance of my salvation in a small little book that goes with me everywhere. I am a christian and I'm never giving it up. Marking on the back of my license to donate organs is like showing an unbeliever your bible and they are saved, and showing them heaven, ETERNAL LIFE!!

All in a piece of plastic! (and a little book)

Finially!

Ok so maybe I never really intended to start a blog, but it just seemed like something i needed to do. Maybe the rest of my family has one and are all so "addicted". Everyone of them telling me oh you really need to get a blog once you get one you will be hooked. So I tried it!

Well I am starting to actually like it! I think this is the beginning of being a hooked blogger. I always thought my life wasn't interesting enough to be able to keep up on a blog. I go to school every day, come home, and go to work if I'm scheduled. How much more interesting can it get. But within the past few months my life has gotten more and more interesing what with a new nephew and God putting us in the right direction in our life with Him. He has called my dad, a pastor, out of the congragation we were in. We discovered very quickly that when God say to do something... you do it, and it all works out for the better :D

So I hope that starting this blog will give me a new look on my life, and help with any stress that I need to overcome by just writing it out... and of course praying! God is Great and he always will be!
